Printed Material

Programmes, bookmarks, and prayer cards are small things that families keep for a lifetime. At J. E. Guide Funeral Home, we design, edit, and print every piece of funeral stationery in-house, with our funeral coordinators and our graphics designer collaborating directly with your family to create keepsakes that truly reflect your loved one. We maintain an extensive catalogue of designs and paper options, and we welcome fully custom pieces as well — as our team puts it, our graphic artist will work closely with you to translate your vision into reality.
Programmes
Programmes are perhaps the most treasured keepsake of a service, often preserved for years and passed between relatives long after the funeral itself. We produce programmes ranging from simple black-and-white, letter-size bi-fold designs to elaborate full-colour, multi-page, tabloid-size bi-fold layouts. Families can include a single portrait photograph, a collage of images spanning a lifetime, or any combination in between. When older photographs are not of the highest quality, our graphic artist will work with you to enhance them and provide draft versions before printing, so you can make every decision with confidence.

Bookmarks
Bookmarks are a simple but meaningful token distributed to family members and well-wishers as they leave the service. Designs can be coordinated with the programme for a unified feel, or created independently to stand on their own. Both sides of each bookmark can carry content — personal details on one side, and a favourite poem, prayer, or quotation on the reverse. Each bookmark measures approximately 5.5 cm by 19 cm (2.25" by 7.5") and is laminated for durability, so it can be carried and used for years to come.

Prayer Cards
Prayer cards are a smaller, pocket-sized keepsake, measuring approximately 5.5 cm by 9.5 cm (2.25" by 3.75"). Each card is double-sided, typically featuring a cherished image of the loved one on one side and a meaningful prayer, verse, or passage on the reverse. Like our bookmarks, prayer cards are laminated so they hold up to handling and travel well in wallets, handbags, and Bibles — close at hand whenever a loved one wants a quiet moment of remembrance.
